As the new year gets underway, Ohio APCO is looking ahead to another year of supporting emergency communications professionals throughout the state.
Our chapter remains committed to providing meaningful opportunities for connection, professional development, and information sharing. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the field, 2026 offers several ways to get involved and stay engaged.
What to Expect in 2026:
- Chapter Meetings: Opportunities to connect with peers, share updates, and discuss topics impacting public safety communications across Ohio.
- Training Opportunities: Ongoing efforts to highlight and promote training events relevant to dispatchers, supervisors, and communications leaders.
- Annual Conference: Ohio APCO will once again partner with NENA to host the Ohio APCO/NENA Joint State Conference, taking place September 13–16, 2026, in Lewis Center, Ohio. This event will bring together public safety communications professionals from across the state for education, networking, and collaboration.
- Member Engagement: Continued focus on strengthening our network and encouraging participation from agencies across the state.
Ohio APCO encourages members and partners to stay connected by attending meetings, sharing training opportunities, and contributing to the continued growth of our chapter.
If your agency is hosting a training or event that would benefit others in the field, we welcome you to submit it for inclusion on our website.
Together, we can continue to strengthen public safety communications across Ohio in the year ahead.
